10+ years ago prior to opening Lucky Eight Automotive LTD. I was previously employed elsewhere in the Richmond Hill neighborhood for over 14 years; starting from the bottom of the totem pole I gained the knowledge, experience and craftsmanship of the automotive sector and fell in love with it. I knew then that it was my passion and I worked my way up towards running and managing the auto shop I was working for at that time. It was always a dream of mine to one day open and operate my own automotive repair business. I knew it was crucial for me to gain enough industry experience and knowledge so that I could provide exceptional service for my clients.
A fully licensed 310S-class Automotive Technician with over 25 years experience within the industry (learning, teaching, managing, repairing). I graduated from Centennial College and have attended numerous training courses to consistently keep up with the industry and where it's headed in the future.
In October of 2011 I officially opened Lucky Eight Automotive LTD. It was a small 2 bay shop with a small clientele base. I made sure that we took it vehicle by vehicle, client by client and began gaining a deeper root of loyal clients that trusted us. 100 clients turned into 400, 400 turned into 800, and we kept on growing. It was clear that our little shop didn't have sufficient space for our expanding business and it was time to make a change. In 2016 we were fortunate enough to expand and find a location nearby to accommodate our existing clients. We moved down the street to our current location. The new location needed a lot of work. We completely gutted the unit and built a 3000+ sq ft automotive space that tripled our previous work space. We hired 5 reputable technicians we trusted that would give the same quality services that we had at our previous location.
As cars get more sophisticated and technological, they may break down less often. However, newer vehicles are also more complex and still need to be maintained regularly. Lucky Eight Auto's technicians are knowledgeable and confident performing any task at hand - regardless of the make, model or year of your car.
It's true that a shop is only as good as it's tools, equipment and parts. Knowing this, I went to great lengths to make sure that any work Lucky Eight Auto undertakes is of the highest quality and exceeds your expectations.
Lastly, I know that finding an automotive shop that is honest, trustworthy, and willing to go the extra mile (no pun intended) can be challenging. Knowing this, I am determined to earn your trust and ensure your satisfaction. Will there be bumps on the road? There might be...I'm not perfect, cars aren't perfect. But when all is said and done, if given the opportunity, I'll make sure that you're happy.

We have acquired the unit next door!!! We are breaking the wall and expanding even further. We are adding ANOTHER 2000+ sq ft of automotive space that will be fully completed in spring of 2022!!! We have our clients to thank for trusting us and giving us the opportunity to expand again.
